<p>In such a situation, it plays a vital role in establishing the foundation of the community governance system in ADA.</p>
<p>The interim constitution shall embody the core tenets of <a href="https://www.cardano.co.uk/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">Cardano governance</a> through transparency, openness, and processing of prospective decisions that consider embracing everyone holding ADA as the community grows.</p>
<p>Such interim advising should also steer the community of ADA towards the proper way of governance, through which any member of the community can feel a sense of community ownership and responsibility.</p>
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="building-the-foundation-with-cardano-s-temporary-constitution">Building the Foundation with Cardano’s Temporary Constitution</h2>
<p>Temporary constitution—Every ADA owner, as a developer or individual participating in ADA, collectively has interim rights, privileges, and duties. All members constitute a single society, where every individual has to take part in penetrating voting rights to ensure that ownership stays with all and is fair.</p>
<p>Besides the necessity of community governance for a decentralized system, it has the merit of progressing the community to the point that it may need to try the structure before it is finalized.</p>
<p>In the end, a document that will be a joint product of the Cardano community will be created with the help of the global workshops and the Constitutional Convention scheduled for the autumn of 2024, where holders of ADA tokens can influence the developed governance model.</p>
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="unlocking-cardano-s-chang-hard-fork">Unlocking Cardano’s Chang Hard Fork&nbsp;</h2>
<p>The forthcoming Cardano upgrade, Chang Toughfork, will be the first technical change of 2024. It symbolises the creation of the first step of a government by the people’s structure. The change will be executed through a dedicated consensus mechanism, a fork-specific consensus method supported and approved by the ADA community.</p>
<p>The fundamental change introduced by Chang Hard Fork is the governance model for Cardano, which is now regulated by Delegate Representatives (DReps). The governance framework includes a variety of community-wide organizations through which DReps hold voting rights on issues that affect the work of the ADA blockchain.</p>
