 The Toncoin price surged 9% in the last 24 hours to trade at $7.04 as of 03:42 a.m. EST on trading volume that dropped 28% to $637 million.
 This comes as the token soared to a new all-time high (ATH) of $7.63, surpassing Dogecoin (DOGE) to become the eighth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. 
 The token now has a market cap of $24.7 billion, with DOGE, which rose 5% in the last 24 hours, coming in at $23.8 billion.

 Since March, Toncoin’s price has seen a significant surge, emerging from a consolidation phase around $2.00. On April 8, TON experienced a staggering ascent, reaching a new all-time high of $7.63.&nbsp;
