The Toncoin price surged 9% in the last 24 hours <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/toncoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">to trade at $7.04</a> as of 03:42 a.m. EST on trading volume that dropped 28% to $637 million.
This comes as the token soared to a new all-time high (ATH) of $7.63, surpassing Dogecoin (DOGE) to become the eighth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. 
The token now has a market cap of $24.7 billion, with DOGE, which rose 5% in the last 24 hours, coming in at $23.8 billion.

Since March, Toncoin’s price has seen a significant surge, emerging from a consolidation phase around $2.00. On April 8, TON experienced a staggering ascent, reaching a new all-time high of $7.63.&nbsp;
Despite a recent flash crash in the crypto market leading TON to retrace to the $5.2 support level, bulls have leveraged this support to drive the price back within the bullish pennant, aiming to breach its upper boundary. With TON trading well above both the 50-day and 200-day moving averages, it confirms the token’s potential for further rallies. 
Additionally, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is trending upward, crossing the 50-midline level and approaching the 70-overbought region, indicating escalating buying pressure. If bullish momentum persists, the RSI may surge further into overbought territory, signaling intense buying activity.
