<h4>Serenity Shield’s Strongbox service is like the Dropbox of Web3. We’ve talked about it before. It’s a terrific easy, secure, data storage service. And the word is getting out about it.</h4> 
Serenity Shield just signed a huge new client for over 10 million gigabytes of data to store on-chain with StrongBox. Let’s dig into it. 
<h5>Serenity Shield Signs Global Publishing House</h5> 
The <a href="https://www.altcoinbuzz.io/?s=serenity+shield" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Serenity</a> team just signed global publishing house <a href="https://www.contentratechnologies.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Contentra Technologies</a> to a 3-year deal. As part of the deal, Contentra will store 10 petabytes (10 million GB) of data from its many clients on-chain using Serenity’s StrongBox data storage service. 
Contentra counts BBC News, National Geographic, Pearson, and Carnegie Learning amongst its clients. Contentra does digital content development with an emphasis on education publishers worldwide. 
The deal goes one step further in solidifying the need and desire to have decentralized data storage solutions. And it strengthens the StrongBox service in particular being the storage service of choice. 
<h5>Serenity Shield and Contentra Are a Win/Win</h5> 
Both parties are excited at the possibilities of this deal.

Here’s a big added side benefit for $SERSH holders. The first 1 million GB of data that Contentra buys they will be paying for in $SERSH. That’s 1.2 million $SERSH to pay for storage fees. Then, even better, per the Tokenomics, the team will burn 25% of these or 300,000 $SERSH to keep moving the token towards deflationary status. 
So this is both a great deal for all sides AND further proof of the $SERSH token’s utility and value in the marketplace. 
<h5>Conclusion</h5> 
Serenity Shield is optimistic that this is a sign of more global adoption to come for Web3 technologies. Data storage in particular since it’s both centralized and insecure is ripe for disruption. We expect more Web2 companies will be coming into Web3 for storage and other security solutions where they can maintain the control going forward.
