We are holding all the cards as an ecosystem. We have the best path for scalability, governance, and innovation. We also have the best community. The Chang <a href="https://bitcoinist.com/ethereum-catastrophe-key-eip-needed-hard-fork/" target="_blank" rel="noopener ">hard fork</a>, anticipated to take place in the second quarter, represents a huge step towards decentralization and community-run governance within the ADA ecosystem. This upgrade will enable ADA holders to actively participate in shaping the network’s future, marking a significant evolution in blockchain governance. 
Chang aims to introduce a framework for on-chain community consensus, laying the groundwork for a more democratic and participatory governance model. This includes the introduction of Delegate Representatives (DReps), a Cardano Constitution Convention, and a pivotal community vote on the Cardano Constitution, setting the stage for a fully decentralized governance mechanism. In parallel to the governance overhaul, ADA is on the cusp of a major technological advancement with the Ouroboros Leios update.
