<p>The <a href="https://coinedition.com/britain-is-on-track-in-cbdc-development-boe-deputy-governor/">Bank of England (BoE)</a> and the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) have <a href="https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/news/2024/april/the-boe-and-fca-issue-joint-consultation-and-draft-guidance-on-the-digital-securities-sandbox" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">announced </a>their joint effort to launch the Digital Securities Sandbox (DSS). This initiative will serve as a testing ground for emerging technologies in the issuance, trading, and settlement of securities.</p>
