Yesterday, Montenegrin prosecutors rejected the existing court decision regarding the extradition of Do Kwon, the co-founder of Terraform Labs, to South Korea, thereby extending the process once again. Today, Montenegrin courts have suspended the process in the past few hours, supporting the prosecutors. In recent minutes, Do Kwon’s side’s major victory has been confirmed by the Montenegrin courts.

Just hours ago, the process of Do Kwon’s extradition had once again reached an impasse. While the Montenegrin courts and prosecutors were in disagreement over which country Kwon would be extradited to, an incredible decision emerged. 
According to the decision made by the Montenegrin court, Do Kwon was released under the condition of house arrest. This decision could also be described as Kwon’s historic victory.

The implications of this new decision regarding Kwon’s extradition are already a subject of curiosity. Both the USA and South Korea wanted Kwon to be extradited to them. What approach the two countries will take in the coming days is also among the curiosities. 
Kwon’s representatives also wanted the former CEO to be extradited to South Korea, but things have changed, and it seems Kwon will stay in Montenegro.
