This update, integrated seamlessly with Mintlayer&#39;s Blockexplorer and Mojito Wallet Browser Extension, simplifies the staking process, making it more accessible and user-friendly. The enhanced user experience encourages wider participation in its staking program.The upgraded staking program is designed to accommodate both new and experienced users, offering two primary ways to stake $ML coins. Individuals can choose to delegate their coins to an existing pool with as little as 1 ML coin or take a more hands-on approach by creating their own pool to maximize their APY, though this requires a commitment of 40,000 ML coins and running a node. The Mojito wallet browser extension, in combination with the blockexplorer, allows for easy participation in staking, requiring users to stake the mainnet version of ML coins.This strategic enhancement is expected to draw more users to Mintlayer, leveraging the high APY to foster greater investment growth within the platform&#39;s ecosystem. To date, the initiative has already seen the creation of over 268 pools, with more than 27 million ML tokens staked across 928 delegations. The increased participation not only secures the Mintlayer network but also stimulates further activity across its network.Mintlayer&#39;s commitment to providing a lucrative staking opportunity while simplifying user engagement underscores its ambition to lead in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.
