<p>Heirs Holdings has announced the launch of a new subsidiary,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.heirstechnologies.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Heirs Technologies Limited</a>. According to a statement, the new subsidiary will have the mandate to empower Africa’s digital transformation through innovative and locally tailored solutions.</p> 
<p>Founded by African business leader, Tony Elumelu, Heirs Holdings’s investment portfolio spans the power, energy, financial services, hospitality, real estate, healthcare and technology sectors, operating in twenty-four countries worldwide.</p> 
<p>“The introduction of Heirs Technologies marks a significant milestone in our journey towards accelerating progress for future generations across Africa,” said Tony O. Elumelu, CFR. “Technology has the power to catalyse development, and we are committed to harnessing this potential to unlock innovations that will improve lives and transform our continent”, he adds.</p> 
<p>Heirs Technologies will empower businesses to thrive, through the delivery of innovative solutions, world-class expertise, and access to global providers, while enhancing local capacity and value.</p> 
<p>The company’s range of offerings will include IT consulting, which encompasses advisory services, business transformation, system integration, licencing, and partnerships. Additionally, Heirs Technologies will offer various managed services covering IT operations and business process outsourcing.</p>

<p>To achieve its vision of propelling Africa to the forefront of the global technology landscape, the new subsidiary will also strategically invest in cutting-edge technological solutions and develop platforms that foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Also central to the company’s plans is to develop local capacity through meticulously tailored skills development programmes.</p>

<h5 id="heirs-technologies-appoint-obong-idiong-as-ceo" class="wp-block-heading">Heirs Technologies appoint Obong Idiong as CEO</h5> 
<p>Heirs Technologies has also announced the appointment of Obong Idiong as its Chief Executive Officer. Idiong brings considerable experience in the technology sector and a visionary approach to this role.</p> 
<p>Before joining the new company, he had served as the MD/CEO at Africa Prudential Plc, where he spearheaded the digital transformation of its registrar services and repositioned the company as an agile and technology-driven organisation. Idiong has held a series of senior management roles, including at the United Bank for Africa Plc and the group holdings company.</p> 
<p>Obong Idiong stated, “We are proud to bring Heirs Holdings’ core values and business approach to the tech sector, leading with excellence, execution, and enterprise. We are committed to bridging an enormous gap in the technology ecosystem by delivering local relevance to a global market and offering cutting-edge solutions to enable our customers to become more competitive”.</p>

<p>In addition, Dr. Fumbi Chima has been appointed as the Chairperson of Heirs Technologies. She has served as CIO in global companies including Adidas, Fox Network Group, Burberry Corporation, Walmart Stores Inc. Asia business operations, and American Express’ Global Corporate Technologies.</p> 
<p>In response to the announcement, Fumbi said, “I am pleased to be a part of this movement to unlock Africa’s potential. Having worked in technology leadership roles across global organisations, I am confident that our company will create an impact that will improve lives and transform the continent”.</p>
