<p style="text-align: justify"><a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/binance-overcomes-legal-hurdles-in-2023/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance</a>‘s 41st Launchpool project, the altcoin project <strong>NFPrompt</strong> (NFP), has been announced as the target of a comprehensive hack attack. The NFPrompt team shared details of the hack attack on their official X account, providing information about the measures taken and planned to be taken.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-details-of-the-hack-attack-targeting-nfprompt-strong"><strong>Details of the Hack Attack Targeting NFPrompt</strong></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">In their announcement on the official X account, the NFPrompt team revealed that a group of hackers targeted various wallet addresses, including those belonging to NFP’s contract administrators.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The hackers managed to illegally access the funds of the victims, including parts of NFP’s treasury and ecosystem fund. The team did not disclose the amount of funds stolen by the hackers.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">In response to the hack attack, the NFPrompt team acted quickly to protect their users and assets, including transferring all smart contract ownerships to new wallet addresses. Additionally, major centralized exchanges (CEXs) have been informed to freeze all funds under the control of the hackers. The team requested that the collaborating CEXs temporarily suspend deposit transactions during the investigation and asked decentralized exchanges (DEXs) to halt all liquidity pools containing NFP tokens as a precaution.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">NFPrompt advised users not to accept NFP from untrusted sources until the next announcement, noting that NFP tokens linked to the hackers would be flagged.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">As expected, following the official announcement of the hack attack, the price of NFP plummeted sharply. According to current data, the altcoin’s price has dropped by 14.82% in the last 24 hours, trading at $0.7768.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-collaboration-with-slowmist-and-chainalysis-fbi-informed-strong"><strong>Collaboration with SlowMist and Chainalysis, FBI Informed</strong></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">As part of security measures, the NFPrompt team announced that they have started working with leading <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/metamask-removed-from-apple-app-store/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Web3</a> security companies, including SlowMist and Chainalysis, to track the hackers’ on-chain activities and identify them. Furthermore, the FBI has also been informed to assist in capturing the hackers.</p>
