<p style="text-align: justify">The altcoin project <strong>NFPrompt</strong> (NFP), announced as <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/binance-announces-aevo-as-the-48th-project-on-launchpool/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance</a>‘s 41st Launchpool, was the target of a comprehensive hack attack. The NFPrompt team shared details of the hack on their official X account, providing information on the measures taken and planned to be taken.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-details-of-the-hack-attack-targeting-nfprompt-strong"><strong>Details of the Hack Attack Targeting NFPrompt</strong></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">In an announcement made on their official X account, the NFPrompt team revealed that a group of hackers targeted various wallet addresses, including those belonging to NFP’s contract managers.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The hackers managed to illegally access the funds of the victims, including parts of NFP’s treasury and ecosystem fund. The team did not disclose the amount of funds stolen by the hackers.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">In response to the hack attack, the NFPrompt team acted swiftly to protect their users and assets, including transferring all smart contract ownerships to new wallet addresses. Furthermore, major centralized exchanges (CEXs) have been informed to freeze all funds under the control of the hackers. The team has requested cooperation from partnered CEXs to temporarily halt deposit transactions during the investigation, and from decentralized exchanges (DEXs) to stop all liquidity pools containing NFP tokens as a precaution.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">NFPrompt advised users not to accept NFP from untrusted sources until the next announcement, stating that NFP tokens linked to the hackers would be flagged.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">As expected, the price of NFP plummeted following the official announcement of the hack. Current data shows that the altcoin’s price has dropped by 14.82% in the last 24 hours, trading at $0.7768.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-collaboration-with-slowmist-and-chainalysis-fbi-informed-strong"><strong>Collaboration with SlowMist and Chainalysis, FBI Informed</strong></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">As part of the security measures, the NFPrompt team announced that they have started working with leading <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/mastercard-tests-on-chain-card-and-advances-in-web3-payment-services/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Web3</a> security companies, including SlowMist and Chainalysis, to track the hackers’ activities on the chain and identify them. Additionally, the FBI has been informed to assist in capturing the hackers.</p>
