<p>Video analysis of revision classes revealed that human teachers displayed more positive emotions towards boys and students with advanced Go skills, while exhibiting fewer negative emotions. This emotional bias correlated with students’ performance in subsequent games, potentially contributing to the initial gender performance gap.</p>

<p>Survey results indicated that girls could discern gender-biased emotions exhibited by human teachers, which may have influenced their learning outcomes.
