Stellar uses trustlines to enable interactions with various tokens on the network. By creating a trustline, you authorize certain accounts to store and transfer certain tokens on your behalf.</blockquote><blockquote><em>Important Notice: Adding a token to your Scopuly balance does not directly credit tokens to your wallet.It simply establishes a trust relationship with the issuing account of the selected token, allowing you to receive and store that token in your wallet.Always use caution: Before adding any token, carefully consider its purpose, legitimacy, and potential risks.</em></blockquote><h2 id="header-0">Getting Started:</h2><p><strong>Click the “Assets” tab in Scopuly:</strong></p><p>Click the “Assets” tab in the Scopuly user interface. You can find it on the sidebar of the platform.</p><p>Alternatively, you can directly access the assets page via this link: <strong><em><a href="https://scopuly.com/assets" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://scopuly.com/assets</a></em></strong>.</p><p></p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/9eecd80f7f694676bd0b8ed8fdae1306.JPG" /><h2 id="header-1">Search for the token you want:</h2><p>The page will display a list of the various Stellar tokens that are currently supported by Scopuly.Use the search bar to find the specific token you want to add to your balance. Enter the asset code (token name) into the search bar.</p><h2 id="header-2">Verify the token (a very important step):</h2><p>Multiple tokens may have the same name or abbreviation. It is very important to choose the right token for safe and correct operation.Carefully review the displayed results, including issuer information and other details, to make sure the token is legitimate and compatible with the intended use.</p><h2 id="header-3">Establish a line of trust:</h2><p>Once you have identified and verified the desired token, click the “&#43;” button next to its name.A window will appear asking you to select the wallet for which you want to create a trust line. Select the appropriate account from the drop-down menu.</p><p></p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/6ee90435c37b4dee98c1c4632c176b80.JPG" /><h2 id="header-4">Confirm the creation of the trust line:</h2><p>After selecting the account, you will see a confirmation message asking, “Add [token name] to your balance right now?”.Review the information carefully and make sure you are adding the correct token for the selected account.If everything is in order, click “Ok” to continue and create a trust line.</p><p></p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/236da0ee22a342b39bff7d2d22e9448a.JPG" /><h2 id="header-5">Success message:</h2><p>Once the trust line has been successfully created, you will see a confirmation message: “[Token Name] Accepted! — The trust line to the token [token name] has been successfully added. The token [token name] is now available on your balance”.</p><h2 id="header-6">Additional information:</h2><p>Adding a trust line usually comes with a minimal transaction fee on the Stellar network. This fee is paid in lumens (XLM) and varies depending on network traffic.Always maintain control of your private key or recovery phrase for your Stellar wallet. Sharing this information jeopardizes the security of your assets.By following these steps and exercising caution, you can successfully add Stellar tokens to your Scopuly balance and explore the diverse token ecosystem on the Stellar network.
