Afaq News – The activities of the “Innovation Summit in the Digital Economy” conference were concluded in the Qatari capital, Doha, which lasted for two days, at the Kempinski Hotel, organized by the Qatari Afaq Event Management Company, in cooperation with the Afaq Group for Media and Conference organizing, and with wide participation from Arabic and foreign entities and institutions., with the aim of learning about the latest developments in the world of digitization.
The conference hosted a group of speakers with Arab and foreign expertise and specialization, who have economic expertise in the world of the digital economy.
Where His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Halaiqa (Former Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs), Mr. Nasser Al-Marri (Vice Chairman and Founder of NCM Investment), Dr. Maher Al-Mahrouq (CEO – Association of Banks in Jordan) Dr.&nbsp; Lawyer Asma Ali Al-Qarrah Daghi (Founder of Asmaa Ali AlQura Daghi Law Firm &amp; An Appeal Lawyer and a Magistrate at Qatar Financial Markets Authority), Mrs. Anita Kalergis (CEO at Ipsum Consulting | PR &amp; Communications Manager at Xprizo), Mr. Richard Mifsud (CEO – Xprizo, FinTech and iGaming Entrepreneur), Mr. Pekka Kelkka (Blockchain and Cryptos advisor at top-notch Web3 projects), Mr. KEY – Karnika E. Yashwant (Co-Founder at Forward Protocol) and other Arab and foreign experts and specialists.
The conference discussed a number of topics related to digital economy technology, the most important of which are investing in digital transformation, the latest financial technology innovations, web initiatives and trends in non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the Metaverse, the future of decentralized finance and big data in Web3, the future role and smart contracts and their inherent and potential restrictions and digital wallets. The future, uses and advantages of Defi, how the Metaverse will change the way we live and work, Blockchain and its impact on foreign exchange markets, in addition to artificial intelligence (AI) in e-commerce, electronic payment innovations, and entrepreneurship.
The Chairman of Afaq Group Dr. Khaldoun Nusair confirmed that this conference is being organized in the Qatari capital to increase opportunities for cooperation, strengthen economic, and trade relations between Jordanian, Qatari and Arab economists and Businessmen participating in this conference.
Nusair stressed the importance of strengthening the concept of the digital economy and its impact on traditional economic life and elements of the economy in general, especially the development that occurred after the Corona pandemic and the transition of the entire world to digitization in all aspects of life, especially economic life.
&nbsp;As usual in everything related to technological progress around the world Afaq Group took the initiative to organize this important conference in Doha, to benefit all those concerned in the private and public financial sectors, banking institutions, information technology and cybersecurity.
The conference was accompanied by a specialized financial exhibition so that visitors and those interested in e-commerce and investment service providers could meet and learn about the advantages and opportunities they offer to individuals and companies.
On the sidelines of the exhibition were also&nbsp; Several awareness-training workshops were also held, presented by a group of international experts, entitled , Challenges of Cyber security and Artificial Intelligence (AI), to learn Investment Strategies in Financial and Capital Markets and Risk Management in the Digital era Business through Web3 and the Metaverse.
