<p>The price of Worldcoin (WLD), the native token underpinning the Worldcoin blockchain network, has seen a significant surge over the last day amid a major exchange listing. As of this writing, WLD was trading around <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/worldcoin-org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$8.52</a>, up over 28% from 24 hours prior according to data from CoinMarketCap.</p>

<p>The Worldcoin network’s underlying technology received praise after it was reported its market capitalization, now over $83 billion, had come to surpass that of <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="https://captainaltcoin.com/best-ai-crypto-projects/" title="AI" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">AI</a> research company OpenAI, valued at $80 billion.
