On Monday, three people who support Craig Wright spoke in court in the UK. This trial could determine if he is the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, <a href="https://news.todayq.com/satoshi-nakamotos-last-unfinished-project-inspires-this-new-online-marketplace-disruptor-in-the-crypto-space/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Satoshi Nakamoto</a>. One important witness, Stefan Matthews, had to explain a controversial comment that he made about the trial. His comment raised doubts about whether he believed Wright was being honest. A group of important people in the crypto industry, including the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) and some Bitcoin developers, are questioning Wright’s statements that he’s the <a href="https://news.todayq.com/fake-satoshi-craig-wright-fumbles-under-intense-questioning/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">secret creator of Bitcoin</a>, known as Satoshi Nakamoto. The trial began on February 5th, and since then, Wright has been questioned for many days, along with witnesses from his side. 
“We’re heading into a f**ing train wreck.” That’s how Stefan Matthews, who supports Craig Wright and is a witness, described the UK trial investigating Wright’s claims that he created Bitcoin. Matthews, who started a tech company with Wright, had to explain that message from January when he testified in court on Monday, along with two others supporting Wright, as the third week of the trial began. 
Matthews swore that he was only talking about how unhelpful Craig was in his plan for the trial. He said he didn’t believe Wright was a fraud. The other two witnesses 
Before Matthews spoke in court on Monday, David Bridges and Max Lynam joined via video. Bridges works in the technology department of Qudos and Max is Wright’s cousin. Bank They both confessed that important moments or talks that made them believe <a href="https://news.todayq.com/not-fake-satoshi-craig-wright-lashes-out-at-expert-criticism/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Wright was Satoshi </a>happened many years ago and didn’t have solid evidence to support them. 
Bridges compared Bitcoin’s technology to an event logging system made by Wright. He said both record transactions well and can’t be changed easily. When asked if the comparison was about how they’re made, he admitted he didn’t know enough about the technical side. Bridges said, “Oh, I wouldn’t know, mate” and didn’t give ant detailed answer 
He mentioned he’s not into crypto much, calling Vitalik Buterin the “Russian guy” who made that “other one” – meaning the famous digital currency ether. “I’m not a fanboy or anything like that,” he added. 
Three people spoke up for Wright in a Monday’s earlier trial in Oslo. They supported him against Hodlonaut, a Bitcoin developer, who won the case. Hodlonaut doubted Wright’s claim of being Satoshi. Matthews will keep talking until lunchtime on Tuesday. Then, Steve Lee and John MacFarlane might speak for COPA, according to reports. According to the tentative schedule shared by the court, this trial is going to continue until around the middle of March.
