Helika has announced an $8 million Series A round led by Pantera Capital with participation from Sparkle Ventures, Diagram Ventures, and Sfermion. Spencer Tucker, Damon Gura and Marc Alloul also joined as angel investors.
This fundraising brings the total raised to date to $12.6 million following a $4 million seed round announced in March 2023 and a 2022 pre-seed of $0.6 million, both led by Diagram Ventures.
The company offers an end-to-end suite of products focusing on advanced off-chain and on-chain analytics. The company’s AI-powered game management platform allows both traditional and Web3 game development studios to optimise user acquisition, retention, and engagement, resulting in increased profits.
Commenting on the announcement, Anton Umnov, co-founder and CEO of Helika said in a statement: “In the last 12 months we have captured a dominant market share in the <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/what-is-a-blockchain-game/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">web3 gaming</a> space under challenging market conditions. We are now ready to launch the next generation of AI-powered Game Management products to help our partners succeed.”
According to Umnov, his company will now look to expand its global footprint in the APAC market following its success in Europe and the US. “We are grateful for the vote of confidence from both our existing and new venture partners,” Umnov said.
Franklin Bi, Partner at Pantera Capital lauded Helika for building “the best solution in the market for analyzing and growing web3 user activity.”
“Their customers are among the top gaming studios and web3 consumer brands in the world. As the gaming world starts to evolve with the speed of AI and the power of web3, Helika’s AI Game Engine will become a critical tool for every builder,” he said.
Yat Siu, Animoca Brands’ Co-Founder and Executive Chairman and Sparkle Ventures’ Investment Committee Member commented: “Helika is a leader in web3 analytics, attribution and game management, working not only with Animoca Brands and our portfolio companies but also with, Yuga, Wildcard and others.”
According to Siu, Sparkle Venture’s investment in Helika is a testament to Helika’s strong position in the market and its industry-leading products.
