Acquiring licensed companies in the crypto industry has been a common practice for years, and Ripple has now purchased a company with an existing license to bypass the regulatory process. Ripple is acquiring Standard Custody &amp; Trust Co, a company with permission and a license to tokenize assets. Ripple President Monica Long stated;
