During a recent hearing in New York, Magistrate Judge Taryn Merkl approved Karony’s release on a $3 million bond.&nbsp;</p>
<p>However, this decision comes with stringent conditions, including detention at his parents’ Utah home, electronic monitoring, and a ban on cryptocurrency promotional activities. Judge Merkl deemed Karony’s initially proposed $1 million bond insufficient given the severity of the charges against him.</p>
