 <p>A brand new altcoin surged by more than 96% over the last three days after its mainnet went live earlier this week.</p>
 <p>Dymension (DYM) is a layer-1 block<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="chain" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/chain.html">chain</a> that aims to serve as a network for “RollApps,” which the project defines as fast modular <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="chain" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/chain.html">chain</a>s that work for games, decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).</p>

 <p>Says the project,</p>

Today, with the first block and the birth of Dymension, a new chapter of block<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="chain" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/chain.html">chain</a>s begins…</em></p>
 <p><em>Dymension’s vision of the Internet of RollApps exponentially accelerates the Inter<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="chain" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/chain.html">chain</a> for all, from solo developers in garages to established teams, bringing back crypto to its roots. Empowering anyone to build and connect their own <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="chain" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/chain.html">chain</a> to the crypto economy.” </em></p>
 <p>The project launched its first block and native token on Tuesday morning. The token, DYM, has already become the 65th-ranked crypto asset by market cap and is trading at $7.75 at time of writing, up from $3.95 during its launch.</p>
 <p>Binance immediately rolled out trading support for DYM on Tuesday. The top global crypto exchange attached a seed tag to the asset, which often applies to lower-liquidity projects that may exhibit higher volatility compared to other listed tokens.</p>
 <p>Binance requires users who own assets with seed tags to pass quizzes every 90 days to ensure they’re aware of the risks before trading the tokens.</p>
