B2C2 has recently received regulatory approval to operate in Luxembourg, enhancing its presence in the European Union as the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation is set to come into effect by the end of 2024. 
The prominent crypto liquidity provider serving institutional clients is now all set for this pivotal moment for digital asset service providers in Europe. 
<h2 id="b2c2-is-luxembourg-s-12th-vasp-licensee">B2C2 is Luxembourg's 12th VASP licensee</h2> 
By securing its place as the 12th virtual asset service provider (VASP) registered with the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) in Luxembourg, B2C2 underscores its commitment to compliance and expansion within the EU's evolving digital asset landscape. 
The VASP registration enables B2C2 to provide over-the-counter (OTC) spot crypto services to its institutional clientele, facilitating closer cooperation with Luxembourg's digital asset ecosystem, traditional financial institutions, and other stakeholders. 
B2C2 has recently acquired Woorton, a Paris-based digital assets liquidity provider, as part of its broader strategy to solidify its EU presence in anticipation of the MiCA regulation. 
<h2 id="denzel-walters-appointed-head-of-luxembourg-at-b2c2">Denzel Walters appointed Head of Luxembourg at B2C2</h2> 
As part of its renewed presence in Europe, setting up shop in Luxembourg, B2C2 has appointed Denzel Walters as Head of Luxembourg. 
Walters's background includes significant roles at the Bank of England, the Prudential Regulatory Authority, and Optima Partners, equipping him with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and business operations in the financial sector. 
Walters' leadership in Luxembourg is expected to drive B2C2's growth and operational excellence in the region, especially in anticipation of the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. His role will involve not only overseeing the firm's expansion and compliance with local regulations but also fostering collaborations within the local digital asset ecosystem.
