 <p class="paragraph">Characterized as a significant advancement, V4 aims to optimize the efficiency and resilience of Orbs’ Layer3 technology, positioning the network to accommodate the projected increase in demand and usage anticipated for 2024, per the latest information shared with Finbold.</p>
 <p class="paragraph">As decentralized applications progressively incorporate Orbs’ products, the necessity for an advanced network has become evident. Orbs V4 looks to meet this imperative requirement by prioritizing a comprehensive set of node enhancements, sustaining Orbs’ leadership in block<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="chain" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/chain.html">chain</a> technology, and fortifying its capacity to manage the forthcoming surge in L3 adoption.</p>
 <h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-v4-comes-as-a-long-awaited-upgrade">V4 comes as a long-awaited upgrade</h2>
 <p class="paragraph">The release of V4 follows two years after introducing its precursor, Orbs 3.0, which introduced the venture’s innovative L3 architecture. Concurrently, introducing two execution services, Orbs Lambda and Orbs VM, empowered developers to expand smart contracts with L3 decentralized backend services executed by Orbs Guardians, thereby diminishing projects’ reliance on centralized backend solutions.</p>

 <p class="paragraph">The forthcoming version of the Orbs Network protocol has undergone extensive development and is poised to reap the rewards of streamlined node implementation and various essential <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="upgrade" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/upgrade.html">upgrade</a>s. These enhancements encompass improvements in Layer3 scaling, increased uptime, an enhanced L3 Activity dashboard for monitoring Orbs-powered protocols, and a redesigned Tetra staking wallet.</p>
 <h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-new-features-in-v4-upgrade">New features in V4 upgrade</h2>
 <p class="paragraph">Orbs intends to automate the manual rollout process for Guardian nodes to enable more frequent <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="upgrade" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/upgrade.html">upgrade</a>s. Additionally, Orbs will transition away from AWS-centric deployment, aiming to support a broader spectrum of hardware and bolster decentralization efforts.</p>
 <p class="paragraph">In V4, technical obstacles confronting node operators will be mitigated by replacing the Orbs node installer CLI. Furthermore, enhancements to the auditability of the Orbs core orchestrator are planned.</p>
 <p class="paragraph">The entire Orbs team is enthusiastic about collaborating with Orbs Guardians, key stakeholders, and the broader community to realize its vision for V4 and to reinforce its status as a pioneering entity in the Web3 sector.</p>
