Kresus Labs has announced a collaboration with Worldcoin issuer, Tools for Humanity to bring World ID to the Kresus App. 
World ID is a digital passport developed by Tools for Humanity to enable people to prove they are unique humans. Users anonymously verify their IDs using zero-knowledge proofs and other privacy-preserving cryptographic mechanisms. 
On the other hand, the Kresus App is a Web3 Super App that enables users to buy, sell and transfer cryptocurrencies and <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/what-is-an-nft/">NFTs</a>. The app provides users with a Web3 .kresus address and a suite of digital identity tools that help streamline crypto and NFT transfers. 
This collaboration will also see Kresus Labs provide Tools for Humanity with guidance and technical support on product strategy and engagement. 
Commenting on the announcement, Trevor Traina, the founder and chairman of Kresus Labs said the collaboration aligns with Kresus’ goal of offering everyone tools to benefit from the blockchain.&nbsp; 
“This is more than just dabbling in crypto since identity touches on all future use cases of Web3 technologies. Proof of personhood will become an essential component of the Web3 ecosystem,” he said. 
“As such, this collaboration is an excellent enhancement to the work we have already done in supporting Web3 identity.” 
This collaboration comes following Kresus’ <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/web3-superapp-kresus-secures-25m-series-a-round-led-by-liberty-city-ventures/">$25 million Series A round</a> announced in March 2023. The round was led by Liberty City Ventures with participation from JetBlue Ventures, Craft Ventures, Franklin Templeton, Marc Benioff, and The Winklevoss twins. 
The app has taken a multi-industry approach in its bid to onboard users to Web3 with the airline, travel and hospitality industries among those targeted. 
Alex Blania, the co-founder and CEO of Tools for Humanity has previously been <a href="https://news.bitcoin.com/kresus-app-and-worldcoins-tools-for-humanity-forge-web3-partnership/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">quoted</a> likening the company’s redesigned iris-scanning orb architecture to an “Apple product”. In a statement on Monday, Blania said: “It is exciting to see another quality wallet developer team integrating World ID and joining the World App ecosystem. Through this collaboration, our teams expect to learn a lot from each other in terms of product strategy and technical implementation over the coming months.”
