Hello, community!Last year was eventful, but our Decimal team is not resting on our laurels. We&#39;ve set new ambitious goals for this year. Every day, we strive to make our service more convenient and efficient for users, and we keep you informed about upcoming technical updates. Today, we want to introduce the main stages of Decimal&#39;s 2024 roadmap. In subsequent posts, we will provide detailed updates on each: why they are important for the project and our community.<h2 id="header-0">Q1: API Functionality Expansion</h2>Improvement of API Service Coin.We&#39;ve dedicated the start of the year to enhancing API functionality. With the API Service Coin, we will improve blockchain data parsing, significantly increasing the accuracy and speed of accessing transaction information.API Service Address for Asset Management.Implementing the API Service Address will simplify access to address and balance data, making asset management even more efficient.API Service Contract.The introduction of API Service Contract will achieve high-speed data retrieval for contracts.Mainnet Update.The update planned since 2023 required more detailed work, so we decided to move it to this year. The functionality for the native DEL coin, custom coins, NFTs, will be moved from the COSMOS module to EVM while maintaining buying, selling, sending, and other functions. We decided to integrate NFT functionality directly into the blockchain, hence the update&#39;s postponement to this year. This update will simplify and accelerate coin operations and integration into existing DeFi services, as well as significantly enhance security.API Service NFT for NFT Operations.The introduction of a new API will allow users to experience enhanced capabilities for quick and comfortable NFT handling.API Service Stake for Staking Access and API Service Validator.This will encourage users to participate more actively in the network, supported by the API Service Validator. Strengthening Decimal&#39;s connection with Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain will facilitate seamless asset transfers between networks and expedite transactions.Optimization of Payments via API Service RPC.Optimization of API Service Search will make blockchain searching more intuitive and faster. Any API update primarily provides a robust technological platform for third-party developers who will build their projects on our blockchain, but more on that later.DEX Delswap Release.With the integration of DEX in the Decimal network, users will be able to conduct instant token and coin exchange operations with minimal fees. Subsequently, the appearance of wrapped assets from ETH and BSC networks will significantly increase DEX liquidity. Creating liquidity pools and farming will provide users with opportunities to maximize their profits from trading strategies.<h2 id="header-1">Q2: Expanding Reach</h2>Integration of Decimal into Ledger. This integration will ensure the safe storage of Decimal cryptocurrency in Ledger wallets, significantly enhancing security and convenience for users.Import of Private Key from Decimal Wallet.This feature will allow users to easily log in on different devices using a private key, simplifying access and enhancing wallet usability. This will significantly improve the convenience of using the Decimal wallet, making it more accessible and user-friendly for a wide range of users.Addressing the Issue of Bulky Nodes.Validators often note the problem of large data volumes being cumbersome and inconvenient to store. The solution will be an optimization that simplifies their deployment and speeds up servicing.Connection of Decimal to the IBC Protocol (postponed from 2023).The task of connecting Decimal to the IBC protocol was postponed from last year, as it required extensive infrastructure preparation work before implementation. The most challenging phase was completed at the end of 2023, and this preparation ensured the latest software package versions and uninterrupted network operation. Only the addition of the IBC module is left to scale the blockchain and attract additional liquidity.<h2 id="header-2">Q3: Implementation of Platform and Management System</h2>Implementation and Launch of DDAO.The implementation of a platform and system for decentralized management of the Decimal blockchain will allow the community to make important decisions about the platform&#39;s development. DDAO will facilitate more democratic governance, allowing members to vote and propose changes in the system.Conducting a Hackathon.Organizing an event focused on developing an NFT Marketplace.<h2 id="header-3">Q4: New Opportunities for Users</h2>Development and Implementation of Lending Protocol.We will focus on developing and launching a lending protocol, which will provide users with the opportunity to obtain cryptocurrency loans using their assets as collateral. Other users will be able to issue such loans.Step by step, we are committed to improving the user experience and expanding functionality. Postponing some tasks from last year contributed to their more thorough and in-depth development, which will ultimately lead to high efficiency and reliability.Our team is doing everything to make blockchain even more attractive and convenient for our users.
