Innovative blockchain platform Flare has announced a partnership with Google Cloud, which will serve as a key infrastructure provider. Google Cloud will reinforce Flare’s commitment to decentralized applications and data access by taking on roles as a network validator and contributor to Flare’s Time Series Oracle (FTSO).
As a network validator, Google Cloud will play a crucial role in proposing and validating new blocks on the Flare blockchain, supporting the chain’s Proof of Stake consensus mechanism and contributing to the network’s <a href="https://en.bitcoinhaber.net/hack-to-win-zengo-wallets-unique-security-challenge" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">security</a> and integrity.
Google Cloud also joins an elite group of 100 organizations responsible for validating and contributing to the FTSO, providing essential pricing data for Flare’s highly decentralized price oracle.
Flare’s mission revolves around empowering decentralized applications with high-quality access to decentralized data, including price and time series data, blockchain-based event and state data, and Web2 API data. The partnership with Google Cloud as an infrastructure provider plays a significant role in realizing this mission.
This collaboration allows Flare to leverage Google Cloud’s infrastructure capabilities to enhance decentralized data availability, supporting the development of innovative decentralized applications in return. Flare aims to revolutionize blockchain services by integrating Google Cloud as a validator and participant, focusing on scalability, low latency, and cost-effectiveness.
