<p>The Hedera Council, a group that promotes network innovation and decentralization on the Hedera network, recently added Hitachi America, Ltd. (Hitachi). The Council gains tremendous industrial solution expertise with this decision. Hitachi, a renowned electronics, electrical, industrial equipment, and services firm, operates and has subsidiaries in the Americas. Hitachi plans to create Hedera network proof-of-concepts for end-to-end supply chain and sustainability solutions next year.</p><h2 id="header-0">Hitachi Strengthens Influence in Hedera Council Through Strategic Partnership</h2><p>Hitachi’s strategic partnership will give it major influence in the Council, which designs Hedera’s software and services and acts as first network nodes. Due to its ability to manage enormous amounts of data, excellent security, and constant commitment to sustainability, Hitachi is interested in using DLT technologies on the Hedera network. Hitachi recognizes Hedera’s ability to address critical supply chain resiliency, clean energy, IT/OT, and semiconductor industry issues.</p><p>Hitachi’s Vice President of Big Data Analytics Solutions Lab Ravigopal Vennelakanti stressed Hedera’s Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)’s role in tokenization and unified workflows. Hitachi expects real applications and solutions from this collaboration.</p><p>Hedera Council membership benefits the network by using Hitachi’s technical, research, and industrial solutions experience. Hitachi’s Council membership is valuable because of its industrial application innovation leadership. Hitachi and its subsidiaries have developed blockchain solutions for payment systems, supply networks, predictive maintenance, and mining.</p><p><a href="https://www.hitachi.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Hitachi</a> also provides the Council with machine learning and generative AI expertise. Blockchain technology and its uses are easier for the Council to handle due to its extensive knowledge. The agreement integrates Hitachi’s industrial solutions with Hedera’s unique skills.</p><h2 id="header-1">Hedera Council Foresees a New Era of Openness</h2><p><a href="https://hedera.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Hedera</a> Council membership committee co-chair Bill Miller stressed the growing importance of distributed ledger technology (DLT) in large-scale real-world applications. He emphasized getting support from significant businesspeople like Hitachi, known for its creative technology in numerous areas. Miller stressed that <a href="https://blockchainreporter.net/glossary/web-3-0/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Web3</a> infrastructure’s openness and accountability are attracting large organizations that are addressing supply chain and other system needs.</p><p>Hitachi’s relationship with the Hedera Council combines its industrial solutions expertise with the network’s distributed ledger technology. The cooperation attempts to solve supply chain resilience, renewable energy, IT/OT, and other practical issues. It also underlines the growing relevance of Web3 infrastructure and distributed ledger technology (DLT) in solving large organizations’ problems, leading in a new era of openness and responsibility.</p>
