In particular, several neighborhoods in Makhachkala are facing critical challenges due to the power grid being overloaded. The rapid and intense fluctuations in network load are attributed to the activities of mining farms. Despite efforts by specialists to identify and dismantle such operations, with 13 farms already dismantled in 2023, the advanced development of mining technologies makes prompt identification challenging.
