El Salvador has introduced a new visa program that offers citizenship to those who invest $1 million in Bitcoin (BTC) or Tether (USDT). This move further cements El Salvador’s position as the most crypto-friendly nation.&nbsp; 
The Freedom Visa is the first of its kind, offering citizenship based on cryptocurrency investments. While some governments, such as the <a href="https://crypto.news/bittrex-files-for-bankruptcy-in-the-united-states/" data-type="post" data-id="14153965">United States</a>, offer citizenship in exchange for significant investments in businesses or real estate, El Salvador is the first to grant citizenship based on the size of an applicant’s cryptocurrency investment.
