<p>For some, <strong>AI constitutes a threat to millions of workers</strong> around the globe. Elon Musk did not mince his words when he described these programs as a “<strong><em>most disruptive force in history</em></strong>.” He made this statement during his meeting with the current British prime minister, Rishi Sunak, last November.</p>

<p>Why refer to artificial intelligences as disruptive? In fact, they will <strong>be able to replace certain employees</strong>. The unemployed will be counted by hundreds of millions in the near future.</p>
<p>Google has already announced the <strong>elimination of 30,000 jobs</strong> in order to gain efficiency.</p>

<p>Cointelegraph reports <a href="https://cointelegraph.com/news/us-supreme-court-chief-justice-predicts-ai-will-significantly-impact-legal-work" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">in a recent publication</a> that John Roberts, Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court, has ruled on Artificial Intelligence in his end-of-year report. He particularly predicted that AI will have a “<em>significant</em>” impact on legal work.</p>
<p>“<em>As the year 2023 comes to an end with thrilling predictions about the future of artificial intelligence, some may ask if judges are on the verge of becoming obsolete. I am certain that is not the case, but I am just as convinced that technological changes will continue to transform our work</em>,” reads in his statement.</p>
<p>For J. Roberts, under no circumstances can these innovations replace human beings in decision-making: judges “<em>would be around for some time</em>,” he estimates.</p>
<p>Explanations&nbsp;:</p>
<p><em>“Nuance matters. Much can turn on a shaking hand, a quivering voice, a change of inflection, a bead of sweat, a moment’s hesitation, a fleeting break in eye contact.”</em></p>
<p>Moreover, people automatically place their trust in humans over AI in assessing nuances and making decisions.</p>
