Thunder Terminal, an on-chain trading platform, was recently the victim of a <a href="https://optimisus.com/news/crypto-news/aurory-gaming-on-solana-was-hit-by-a-major-hack-losing-80-in-aury-usdc-pool/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hacking attempt</a>, resulting in the loss of 86 ETH and 439 SOL.  
Despite the breach, Thunder Terminal responded quickly, assuring users that all funds are secure and taking immediate steps to mitigate the impact.  
The hackers took advantage of a vulnerability by gaining access via a MongoDB URL, allowing them to execute fraudulent withdrawal requests and steal large sums of digital assets.  
The unauthorized activity began at 12:11:47 AM UTC but was effectively stopped by 12:20:35 AM UTC, demonstrating Thunder Terminal's quick response to the security breach.  
Thunder Terminal took proactive measures to improve platform security in response to the security incident. To prevent further unauthorized access, the team quickly revoked all session tokens and transaction signing access.  
Importantly, Thunder Terminal reassured users that no private keys or <a href="https://optimisus.com/press-releases/mantle-network-launches-mantle-learn-with-hackquest-to-onboard-web2-developers-to-web3/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">wallets were compromised</a> as a result of the breach, reducing potential risks to the broader user base.  
To allay the fears of affected users, Thunder Terminal has pledged to refund all lost funds as a result of the hack.  
Furthermore, the platform is providing additional benefits to users who have been affected by the security breach, demonstrating a commitment to user satisfaction and trust restoration.  
In an alarming turn of events, the hackers responsible for the breach claim to have user data and are demanding 50 ETH to delete it.
