Moreover, following Biden’s initial order, the current endeavor zeroes in on setting benchmarks for AI safety, security, and trust within the U.S. With this, the administration eyes global leadership in the conscientious advancement and utilization of this rapidly evolving technology.
Meanwhile, as the NIST chimed in, it sought public and industry opinions on AI regulation by February 2, 2024. With this, the commerce institute aims to administer significant testing on AI-related systems to ensure the safety of the entire AI industry on the nation’s horizon.
