<p>The partnership announcement comes against a $22 million <a href="https://crypto.news/kucoin-settles-with-new-york-attorney-general-injective-and-everlodge-rallying/">settlement</a> announcement a week earlier, which was made to conclude a legal dispute the exchange faced with the state of New York. </p> 
<p>The lawsuit, filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James in March, accused KuCoin of operating an unregistered commodities and securities exchange. The allegations stemmed from the platform enabling New York investors to trade cryptocurrencies without obtaining a regulatory license.</p>
