<p>The PS Plus January 2024 Essential games are set to be unveiled on December 27th. Sony consistently follows the pattern of revealing the next batch of Essential offerings on the final Wednesday of the current month, precisely one week before the release date for the next Essential freebies. According to the <a href="https://blog.playstation.com/2023/11/29/playstation-plus-monthly-games-for-december-lego-2k-drive-powerwash-simulator-sable/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" target="_blank">PlayStation blog post</a> for December 2023, these next Essential games will be available for download on January 2nd.</p>

<p>For those who subscribe to the Extra and Premium tiers, the good news is that their games will be announced on January 10th. Sony traditionally waits until the Wednesday one week after the release of the Essentials to reveal the Extra and Premium additions. This is evident in the December release schedule, where the Essential <a href="https://www.cryptopolitan.com/gaming/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">games</a> came out on December 5th, with the higher-tier additions disclosed on December 13th.</p>
