<h2 id="header-0">Welcome to Patch 0.45.20 — a game-changer in every sense of the word.</h2>This update brings with it a sweeping set of changes to Ethernals and with a keen focus on the mechanics of aggro and the all-too-familiar snowball effect. Our mission with the Ethernals is clear and twofold: we&#39;re dialing back their game omnipotence to ensure a more balanced power scale. Ethernals have had their time in the limelight with their board control — it&#39;s time to bring that into alignment. Furthermore, we&#39;re doubling down on user experience. We&#39;re committed to making Ethernals rewarding and fun to play, irrespective of whether you&#39;ve got Common, Epic or a Legendary. A little leniency in targeting should hit just the right spot, providing the strategic edge needed in key moments. We’d also like to clarify that there&#39;s no plan to revert Ethernals to their previous levels of power. Instead, we&#39;re looking to expand the roster, introducing new Ethernals with unique mechanics to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging. Rest assured, balancing these new additions is a top priority to maintain the competitive integrity and fun of the game.As for the snowball concern — we&#39;re putting the brakes on that. We&#39;re tweaking the balance to ensure that an early lead doesn&#39;t unfairly dictate the entire game, allowing all players to enjoy the strategic depth of the mid to late game that makes Aether truly shine. And of course, you can expect our regular balance adjustments to keep the gameplay tight and competitive.We&#39;re excited to unveil an electrifying new addition to our Epic Creature lineup: meet the Storm Wraith. Brace yourselves for a tempest of new strategies as the Storm Wraith brings a maelstrom of surprises to bear against any who dare to challenge.Significant enhancements have been made to our game optimization, resulting in smoother performance and reduced RAM usage.
