FTX’s imminent reopening speculations have garnered significant investor interest in FTT, with the altcoin’s price surging nearly tenfold since the beginning of the year. Spot On Chain previously reported a substantial increase in the value of FTX’s FTT in the wallets of the new management appointed to oversee the exchange’s bankruptcy proceedings following a rally in November of last year.
According to Spot On Chain’s findings, FTX and Alameda Research collectively hold approximately 267 million FTT in their wallet addresses, translating to a value of $1.3 billion at current prices. This marks a significant increase from $334 million to $726 million in the value of FTT assets in wallet addresses in November of last year.
Data from CoinMarketCap shows that FTT is currently trading at $4.92, reflecting a 0.35% increase in the last 24 hours. The altcoin’s price has surged by 10.28% in the last 7 days and 37.96% in the last 30 days.
