<p>Notably, <a href="https://coingape.com/glossary/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bitcoin</a> and Ethereum lead the charge, reaching peaks not seen in over a year. However, amid this rally, caution prevails as the fear and greed index signals heightened greed in the market. As of writing, the crypto market fear and greed index was at 82, suggesting an “extreme greed” scenario in the market.</p> 
<p>Talking about the individual crypto prices, Bitcoin crossed the $43,000 mark on Wednesday, nearing $44,000, suggesting a strong market sentiment. As of writing, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bitcoin price</a> was up 4.56% over the last 24 hours and traded at $43,680.78, while its trading volume over the last 24 hours stayed near the flatline at $37.60 billion.</p>
