<p>Christopher Alexander, Chief Analytics Officer at Pioneer Development Group, notes that current AI tools primarily focus on augmenting human decision-making rather than fully autonomous lethal weapon systems. Human oversight remains critical for making moral decisions in combat situations.</p>

<p>Alexander underscores the role of AI in improving decision-making within the Department of Defense (DOD). AI technology enhances decision-making processes by reducing the workload under time constraints and providing greater clarity through data analysis. This results in faster, more informed decisions, potentially leading to the resolution of conflicts with fewer civilian casualties.</p>
