 <p>The Web3 ecosystem might have weathered a dry year during 2023 in terms of venture capital (VC) funding, but it surely had its highlights with many bountiful investments across a wide range of niches.</p>
 <p>The most recent data indicates that Web3 startups have raised around $6 billion so far in 2023 — a sharp decline from over $25 billion in funding the ecosystem enjoyed in 2022. While the impact of the “crypto winter” was felt over the last few quarters, 2023 brought some of the most successful funding rounds in the Web3 space.</p>
 <p>The Web3 industry started the year with a bang, witnessing a flurry of significant funding rounds. Blockstream, a digital asset company, set the tone with a mammoth $125 million round, followed by Chain Reaction, a blockchain chip startup, which secured $70 million. LayerZero, a cross-chain messaging protocol, added to the excitement with a hefty $120 million deal, while game publisher Mythical Games closed its Series C1 round, adding $37 million to its pocket.</p>

The online event is organized by Cointelegraph Accelerator, Cipholio Ventures and LeadBlock Partners. The attendees will be able to discover the hidden gems of Web3 from different fields, including infrastructure, blockchain and digital assets.</p>
 <p>Cipholio, the venture arm of the global crypto exchange BitMart, is a research-driven investment firm specializing in cryptocurrencies, tokens, and blockchain projects. LeadBlock Partners is a European venture capital fund focusing on corporate and institutional blockchain adoption. MetaEra, a Hong Kong-based Web3 aggregator, also joins the event as a collaborator.</p>
 <p>During the Investor Demo Day, up-and-coming Web3 projects will get a chance to present their ideas and products to a diverse range of investors from around the world. The previous events saw over 150 attendees on average, and with the market moving toward a positive sentiment, the upcoming demo day is bound to <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="showcase" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/showcase.html">showcase</a> various Web3 projects, curated by Cointelegraph Accelerator and its partners.</p>
