This beta launch of Girolamo, named after the Italian mathematician Girolamo Cardano, marks a significant evolution in Cardano’s journey in AI.</p>

<p>Cardano’s engagement with AI dates back to 2021 with the introduction of Grace, an AI robot developed by Awakening Health in collaboration with Hanson Robotics and SingularityNET, a blockchain partner of Cardano. This project marked the beginning of a series of initiatives aimed at merging AI with blockchain technology.</p>

<p>Furthermore, Cardano’s commitment to decentralization has been bolstered by the completion of the prototype implementation of the Mithril relay by the Mithril team. This development is crucial for enabling peer-to-peer signature broadcasting, a core component of decentralized networks.</p>
<p>In the governance domain, Cardano is gearing up for a significant milestone. The community is preparing for a special ballot vote under CIP-1694, focusing on evaluating advancements in both on-chain and off-chain governance. This initiative, with the snapshot for participating wallets taken on November 21, and the voting process scheduled from December 1 to December 11, exemplifies Cardano’s dedication to community involvement and governance evolution.</p>
