<a href="https://www.binance.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance</a> has announced the winning design of BWT Alpine F1 Team driver Pierre Gasly’s helmet for the upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 26, 2023. The world’s largest crypto exchange ran a campaign to find the best helmet designs for the Alpine F1 driver, toning down the submissions to a winner, announced today.&nbsp;
The competition was open to all Binance customers and F1 enthusiasts worldwide, with each participant expected to submit a design for the helmet, showcasing their creativity by blending Binance and F1 in their designs. The competition, which ran from August 23 to September 8, saw over 700 submissions made to the judging panel, which included Pierre Gasly and his team, from fans in over 140 countries.&nbsp;
The winning design encapsulated Binance values, resonated with its innovative ethos, and aligned with the campaign’s mission to foster connections within the motorsport community. The winning helmet was inspired by the Binance brand colours and the team sponsor’s bright pink colour to shine under the nighttime track lights while also paying homage to Arabic culture with a dedicated script.&nbsp;
“Inspired by Binance’s brand colours, I made black and yellow the predominant colours. I also gave it a glossy surface finish to evoke the golden colour and allude to Arabic culture, along with Arabic calligraphy on the sides,” the winner shared. “Since the race will take place at night, I also used the colour of another sponsor (vibrant pink) to create a contrast with the rest of the design, making the helmet stand out under the nighttime lights.”
Pierre Gasly showed his appreciation for the creativity shown by all participants, specifically picking the winning design, stating it “encapsulates his partnership with Binance” and adds to his connection with the fans.&nbsp;
