The “WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP 2023,” which adorned the finale of the KLPGA (Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association) season, took place over two days from Saturday, November 18th, at the Haeundae Beach Golf &amp; Resort in Busan.Throughout the KLPGA season, the highly competitive players who earned spots in the top 20 of the WEMIX Points Ranking through the “Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP” significantly enhanced the tournament&#39;s prominence. Following a single-match play for the first round, the players were divided into Groups A and B based on the result of the first round. Their final ranking was determined through the 18-hole stroke play of the second round.At the culmination of the fierce 2-day competition, “Player YEWON LEE” emerged victorious in this tournament, recording a final total of 5 under par with 67 strokes and grabbing the championship. As a result, the player won 250,000 WEMIX as prize.Furthermore, “Player JIYOUNG PARK” from the final Group B, who achieved the lowest score and the same final total score with Player YEWON LEE, with a cumulative score of  5 under par and 67 strokes, ranked 13th in the final rankings. This accomplishment led to the player being selected as the Daily Best after the countback rule was used to separate tied players after concluding a competition. With that, she earned a total of 66,000 WEMIX,  including the winning prize of 16,000 WEMIX and a special prize of 50,000 WEMIX.At the “WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP 2023,” a groundbreaking initiative was introduced with the world’s first “Real World Event NFT.” Ticket NFTs, provided in more convenient blockchain technology, garnered significant interest from numerous gallery attendees.Gallery attendees seamlessly authenticated parking and entry using the stored ticket NFTs on their mobile phones upon arriving at the tournament venue.
