Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) has officially filed a legal challenge against the European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA), rapidly increasing the ongoing conflict between tech giants and regulatory authorities, according to a recent post by the Court of Justice of the European Union on X (formerly Twitter). The DMA, implemented in May, targets major technology companies identified as “gatekeepers,” including Microsoft (MSFT.O), Apple (AAPL.O), Alphabet’s Google (GOOGL.O), Amazon (AMZN.O), Meta, and ByteDance’s TikTok. The ruling seeks to address concerns of market dominance by these companies and promote healthy competition and consumer choice.
