According to a report by the Financial Markets Authority (AMF), <strong>the number of local adults investing in cryptocurrencies has relatively increased</strong>. More details below!</p> 
<h2 id="h-9-of-french-adults-hold-crypto">9% of French adults hold crypto</h2> 
<p>The <strong>lack of regulatory clarity in the United States </strong>might have pushed some crypto industry players to flee the country. France, which the current government intends to <strong>transform into a “crypto hub”</strong>, has decided to wide open its doors to these American exiles.</p>

<p>It is therefore not surprising that <strong>31% of young French people are in favor of being paid in cryptocurrencies</strong>, as highlighted in the report of a survey conducted by Payfit.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://news.bitcoin.com/9-of-french-adults-now-invested-in-crypto-assets-amf-survey-reveals/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bitcoin.com</a>, AMF’s investigations have revealed a <strong>significant increase in the number of French people holding crypto-assets</strong>. Statistics:</p> 
<ul> 
 <li>24% of French adults admit to having investments in various financial instruments;</li> 
 <li>9% of them hold cryptocurrencies;</li> 
 <li>more than 10% of those surveyed are rushing into real estate funds;</li> 
 <li>5.4% in bonds.</li>

<p>“<em>The rate of <strong>individual holding of crypto-assets stands at 9%</strong> of the French population. The rate of listed securities holdings is at 7%, close to the level estimated by the Kantar institute in March 2023 (See LOE special issue of July 2023)</em>”, reads the <a href="https://www.amf-france.org/sites/institutionnel/files/private/2023-11/loe-54-ven.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Newsletter</a> of the AMF’s Household Savings Observatory.</p> 
<p>Another notable point of this report: compared to traditional investors, <strong>new investors are investing less and less in the stock market</strong>. 54% of them, which is 63% of new investors aged 25 to 34 years, are interested in the crypto adventure, whereas traditional investors show a modest rate of 25%.</p>
