<p>Nouns, the North American <a href="https://www.cryptopolitan.com/grand-final-approaches-in-dota-2s-event/">Dota 2</a> organization, has officially revealed its revamped roster for the upcoming 2024 season. The announcement follows the team’s decision to disband its previous roster after finishing 7th-8th at The International 2023 (TI12). With an eye on rebuilding and maintaining competitiveness in the North American scene, Nouns has made strategic additions to its roster.</p> 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="key-retentions-and-new-additions">Key retentions and new additions</h2> 
<p>Nouns will continue with Nicolas “Gunnar” Lopez in the midlane position and Rodrigo “Lelis” Santos as their position 4 support. These two players have been integral to the team’s past successes and will remain a core part of the revamped lineup.</p> 
<p>One of the major highlights of Nouns’ roster overhaul is the addition of Tal “Fly” Aizik, former team captain of both Shopify Rebellion and Evil Geniuses. Fly’s experience and leadership qualities are expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and stability to the team.</p> 
<p>Additionally, the team is in the process of finalizing their roster and will see the inclusion of former Entity midlaner Daniel “Stormstormer” Schoetzau and Nigma Galaxy carry player Yuma “Yuma” Langlet, who will join Nouns at ESL Kuala Lumpur.</p> 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="nouns-remarkable-journey-in-2023">Nouns’ remarkable journey in 2023</h2> 
<p>Nouns emerged as one of the surprise teams in Valve’s final Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season in 2023. Their journey to prominence began with a qualification for the Bali Major, showcasing their potential on the international stage. This success set the stage for their participation in the TI12 Regional Qualifier, where they surpassed all other North American teams to secure a coveted spot at The International 2023.</p> 
<p>At TI12, Nouns continued their impressive run by defeating Tundra Esports, considered one of the favorites at the tournament. This victory propelled them into the upper bracket, where they faced tough competition. While they couldn’t secure a top placement, Nouns finished as the highest-ranked North American organization, solidifying their status as a rising force in the region.</p> 
<p>The addition of Tal “Fly” Aizik marks the beginning of Nouns’ rebuilding process as they set their sights on creating a competitive roster capable of challenging the top teams in North America. Fly’s expertise in leadership and strategy will be instrumental in shaping the team’s future trajectory.</p> 
<p>Fly is poised to make his debut with his new North American squad at the ESL Kuala Lumpur’s North America closed qualifier scheduled for November 16. This tournament will serve as an initial test of the team’s synergy and potential under Fly’s guidance.</p>
