Toposware has announced a $5 million funding round led by Evolution Equity Partners. The strategic seed extension also attracted participation from Triatomic Capital, K2 Access Fund, Polygon’s Founder and Chairman Sandeep Nailwal. 
Toposware is a zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs-based infrastructure provider focusing on addressing the challenges of blockchain interoperability, privacy, and scalability. The latest round was purposely planned to onboard key VCs and industry leaders, the company said in a statement. 
According to the <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/toposware-closes-strategic-investment-round-to-revolutionize-zero-knowledge-infrastructure-301973975.html?" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">announcement</a>, key leaders across global insurance, finance, manufacturing, healthcare, consulting and tech also joined the round. 
Toposware also plans to use the funds to form more partnerships ahead of launching its Enterprise Early Access Program. 
Commenting on his company’s leading role in the fundraising, Taher Elgamal, Evolution Equity Partner said: “Creating infrastructure that fundamentally changes the way parties digitally interact is a daunting undertaking, however, the opportunities are massive. Evolution Equity Partners is excited to support Toposware as they lead from the front – propelling zero-knowledge innovation to mainstream utility.” 
Toposware also plans to continue with a recruitment drive as it continues to expand its footprint in the Americas and Europe. The company is specifically looking to add to its engineering team to deliver core zero-knowledge infrastructure and community roles for ecosystem adoption. 
oposware’s CEO, Theo Gauthier commented: “Toposware is entering a new phase of growth and development where we are laser-focused on applying the differentiated utility of zero-knowledge to real-world use cases.” 
His company is looking to leverage the collective experience of the participating “world-class investor group” to accelerate the execution of its goals – “bringing developers, product teams, organizations, and users together to create novel value.”
