The mobile application of the altcoin project Worldcoin, founded by OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman, the creator of the viral <a href="https://newslinker.co/category/ai/" data-wpel-link="exclude" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">artificial intelligence</a> chatbot ChatGPT, has achieved remarkable success. Despite the increasing debates about the potential privacy nightmare of data collection for the World ID system, this achievement has made a big impact.

According to the official announcement from Worldcoin’s X account, the mobile application World App has surpassed 4 million downloads since its launch. The doubled user base demonstrates the high interest in Worldcoin worldwide.

Furthermore, the company reported that it has conducted over 22 million transactions through the application in the past six months. All of these transactions were performed by an average of 1 million active users monthly. Particularly, Tools for Humanity (TFH), the company behind the development of Worldcoin, reached 500,000 active users weekly during the same period.

The increasing demand for the application indicates that the reputation of the World ID system as a solution for digital payments and digital identity verification has grown. TFH evaluates that the secret to this success lies in focusing on a good user experience. In this context, a series of developments that enhance the user experience of World App and facilitate the international adoption of Worldcoin services were recently introduced.
According to TFH, World App keeps the user experience clean and intuitive by showing users only the parts of the Worldcoin and <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/ethereum-eth-surpasses-1700-levels/" data-wpel-link="internal" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum</a> ecosystems that will be most helpful in their daily lives.
The meaningful flow of active users and rapidly increasing download numbers are also linked to the high accessibility provided by World App, which has an application size of only 18MB, much lower than the industry average for cryptocurrency wallets. Furthermore, TFH plans to offer more developments soon to expand the app’s accessibility:
