This is the first over-the-counter (OTC) trading product among centralized exchanges (CEXes) that allows investors to trade new tokens before they're officially listed.

Pre-Market Trading aims to democratize access to the primary market by offering a more transparent and accessible way for both retail investors and professional users to secure shares in a token before its listing. This allows users to lock in selling prices in advance, providing an early access advantage that could redefine how traders engage with new tokens. 
KuCoin is setting itself apart as the first centralized exchange to facilitate the advanced opening trading of unlisted tokens. In a market where centralized platforms often hold sway, KuCoin's innovation promises to streamline the settlement process while also offering a peer-to-peer transaction experience that eliminates platform intervention. 
Celestia is set to be the first project to feature on KuCoin's Pre-Market Trading platform. As the project prepares to initiate its Genesis Drop, users will have early access to its native asset, TIA. This will give traders the opportunity to lock in selling prices for TIA before its official listing, thus reducing the risks traditionally associated with entering new markets. 
Founded in 2017, KuCoin has rapidly ascended the ranks to become one of the industry's most prominent exchanges. With operational headquarters in Seychelles, the platform caters to over 30 million users across more than 200 countries and regions.&nbsp;It currently offers a wide array of services including spot trading, margin trading, P2P fiat trading, futures trading, staking, and lending.
