This monumental merger marks the inception of a transformative growth chapter for both companies as they work towards being one of the best software acquisitions. 
The union between Atlassian and Loom is far from impromptu. Over the years, the two organizations have cultivated a strong partnership that transcends the mere dynamics of the market. Even when Loom was generating just under 1 million “looms” per month in 2019, Atlassian was firmly committed to the vision of Loom. Fast forward to today, and Loom has grown exponentially, boasting a staggering 7 million “looms” per month. 
Vinay Hiremath, one of the co-founders of Loom, expressed his enthusiasm for the future. He affirmed that Loom will continue to innovate and bring new products to the platform while also integrating seamlessly across Atlassian’s extensive product portfolio. The potential for cross-pollination between the two companies is expected to create substantial value for customers, something that would have taken considerably longer to achieve independently.
