Outlier Ventures has teamed up with Wormhole Protocol and Borderless Capital to launch the Wormhole Base Camp Accelerator Program. The 12-week program will support projects that are looking to leverage Wormhole’s cross-chain messaging protocol.&nbsp; 
According to press material shared with NFTgators on Wednesday, the program features $200,000 backing from Borderless Capital and workshops conducted by industry experts and contributors from Outlier Ventures and Wormhole Protocol. 
The program is accepting applicants through December, with the program scheduled to kick off with the first cohort of participants in January 2024.&nbsp; 
This announcement comes at the back of Borderless Capital’s announcement of a <a href="https://www.nftgators.com/borderless-capital-and-wormhole-launch-50m-cross-chain-ecosystem-fund/">$50 million cross-chain ecosystem fund</a> in May 2023. Like the Base Camp Accelerator program, the fund targeted projects looking to use Wormhole’s cross-chain messaging protocol. 
Throughout the program, teams can expect to receive technical support across segments including Cross-chain Liquidity, Cross-chain Infrastructure, Data and Payments, and Cross-chain Decentralized Identity (DID). 
“The Wormhole Base Camp will forge a path for the next generation of Web3 pioneers. Through our partnership with Outlier Ventures and Borderless Capital, we are creating a launchpad for early-stage founders to explore the limitless potential of Wormhole’s cross-chain messaging network,” said Robinson Burkey, EVP and Head of Strategy at Wormhole Foundation. 
“This accelerator program is not just about fostering startups; it’s about catalyzing a revolution in Web3 applications, products, and protocols. We invite visionary entrepreneurs to join us in shaping the future of blockchain interoperability,” said Burkey. 
Outlier Ventures and Wormhole will also assist teams with their product roadmap including community building and entity structuring, among others. 
The Wormhole ecosystem fund features over 50 participating Web3 companies, giving it access to a range of industry experts. Teams will also have direct access support to the network and web3 investors for future fundraisings.&nbsp; 
“We are thrilled to partner with Wormhole Foundation and Borderless Capital on the Wormhole Base Camp accelerator program to help founders who are looking to build cross-chain applications leveraging Wormhole protocol’s cross-chain interoperability solutions,” said Benjamin Meyer, Chief Product Officer at Outlier Ventures. 
On the other hand, Alpen Sheth, Senior Partner at Borderless Capital commented: “We believe that the future of Web3 is moving towards secure interoperability for users, developers, founders and assets.
