Their research revealed that traditional financial <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="application" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/application.html">application</a>s charge an average of 2.7-3.5% for money transfers between the United States and the studied <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="markets" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/markets.html">markets</a>, whereas <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="blockchain" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/blockchain.html">blockchain</a>-based solutions charge only 1% or less. This accessibility has opened up electronic payments to individuals who were previously unable to afford them.
